The Restorative Willow is a Brand

Hello! It’s been a while since I have published a blog post. I have been doing a lot of soul searching about how I want The Restorative Willow to continue showing up in the community and in the world and I feel some shifts coming, so let’s take a look at the hopes and dreams that I have for this little business with a big heart…

The Restorative Willow is more than just macrame & forest bathing. It's a brand. It's a brand that represents the restoration of creativity, connection + community.

It's a brand that represents deepening our relationship to our creative selves, deepening our relationship to the planet and to all of the beings that make it up, and deepening our connection to our community.

I’ve been learning that as much as I adore my logo, there so many of you who love it too. It truly captures the essence of The Restorative Willow. The willow tree is characterized by its long, graceful branches and drooping leaves. This tree is often associated with qualities like resilience and adaptability. The moon and stars suggest a celestial theme, conveying a sense of calm, mystery, and wonder.

The combination of these elements sybolizes ideas such as growth, tranquility, and a connection between the natural world and the (inner and outer) cosmos. The willow tree's symbolism implies strength and flexibility in the face of challenges, while the moon and stars evoke a sense of serenity and perhaps a touch of magic.

If you have joined me in the forest, tying knots together, or we’ve chatted at a festival or market, YOU are part of The Restorative Willow and I am so glad you are here.

We’ve started adding merchandise with the beautiful logo on it to our offerings and in the coming weeks and months, you will find more opportunities to wear and share the mission & vibe of The Restorative Willow in the form of stickers, shirts, notebooks and more. We look forward to spreading the love, tranquility, and magic that is The Restorative Willow in more ways and I am so grateful to all of you who are a part of it.

xoxo
